Alex, Nick, and George are back from an extended break following the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the international break. Alex and Nick are both licking their wounds after their teams' disastrous showings in local derbies in North London and Manchester. George's beloved Leeds earned a point with ten men against Steven Gerrard's faltering Aston Villa. We also discuss the thrilling draw between England and Germany at Wembley in the Nations League, and we look ahead to the week in Europe and next week's Premier League fixtures.

Arteta Flies Too Close To The Sun

Alex, Nick and George pick through an eventful matchday 6 in the Premier League. Nick looks back at a great game against Arsenal and a fourth successive win for Manchester United. Ivan Toney did some serious damage to George's beloved Leeds at Brentford, Spurs beat Fulham with a good performance, and there was trouble with VAR all over the league, prompting Nick and George to put the boot in to the referees. Plus a look ahead to Europe this midweek and next weekend's matches.

Dry Your Eyes Mate

Nick is back in the pod to recap an uncommonly good week for his Manchester United. Bournemouth manager Scott Parker won the sack race after a 9-0 defeat at Anfield, and George has plenty of praise for Brighton after they beat his beloved Leeds on the south coast. Alex can't complain after a solid 2-0 win for Spurs at Nottingham Forest. Plus news from the end of the transfer window, midweek matches, and the draws for the European competitions and the League Cup.

Beesotted With Brentford At The Bridge

We're back after an exciting last international break of the season and a sensational 4-1 for Brentford away win at Chelsea this weekend. Alex has a 5-1 win over Newcastle to celebrate and compares Harry Kane to Zidane, Nick has yet more disappointment at Old Trafford to pick through, and George keeps his cool at the wrong end of the table. A Happy Place Between A Riot And A Festival

Alex, Nick, and George are joined by friend of the show and West Ham fan Will Swannell after the Hammers sensationally progressed past Sevilla in the Europa League. Alex is happy after six points in a week and a good win at home to West Ham, George looks back on an amazing Friday night comeback for Leeds at Molineux, and Nick is left to survey the damage after Manchester United's exit from the Champions League at the hands of Diego Simeone's Atlético Madrid. We're back after a six-week winter break to touch base with our respective teams' progress, and it doesn't look great. Nick looks back at another shambolic big match performance from Manchester United in the derby, and Alex bemoans Tottenham's recent inconsistency under Conte, even as they put five goals past Lampard's Everton as we record. George attempts to process a terrible few weeks for his beloved Leeds, with five straight defeats and the sacking of adored manager Marcelo Bielsa.
